And I chose this one because it has Riisa Naka and enjoyed her performances in few other movies. When I first saw the trailer to this, I was expecting a feel good comedy with some Japanese awkward humor. Yes, it does have those elements but it can get serious at times as well, especially near the end. Also this movie has it's way of grabbing the audiences attention although it starts out with normal life of Japanese people.

And made me sort of be immersed in the scenarios and found the scenarios sot of engaging a bit. I guess it's because of the interaction and the awkward relationship between the characters, maybe the cute eye candy as well. And it manages to accomplish this task even if the premise may seem a bit too normal and mediocre.

Another thing I really enjoyed was how there is a lot of unexpected stuff in it, when you may think you got certain things down it gives you a unexpected twist.

Which made this movie stand out compared to other films that has a similar direction. And is the reason I am giving this a higher rating than I originally planned on giving since I thought I got the direction completely mapped out. On a negative side the movie does seem to get a bit tedious and drag after a while, but that is just minor complaints. It's a view of the real life modern Japanese people with their conflicts, but still engaging.
